Privacy policy
Last updated 6 November 2026
Gorbasoft makes free Windows software in Glasgow, Scotland. This policy explains what information our apps, this website, our email and our Ko-fi page handle. The short version: our apps don't collect anything about you, and we don't track you.
Space Explorer
- No data collection. Space Explorer does not collect, send or sell any personal information. It has no telemetry, no analytics, no adverts and no account.
- Everything stays on your PC. Your settings, saved scans, reports and media catalogue are kept in the app's own folder on your computer (
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Gorbasoft\SpaceExplorer). We never see them. - Services you add. If you add a NAS, network share, Docker server, Portainer, Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Tautulli or a download client, the app talks directly to that service at the address you give it. The addresses, user names, tokens and keys you enter are stored on your PC only and are only sent to the service they belong to.
- Links. A few buttons open web pages in your browser, such as our Ko-fi page or the FFmpeg download page. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
- Removing it. Uninstall the app, and delete the folder above if you want to remove your saved scans and settings too.
